COVID-19 Policy

The Adventure Plus team is making sure that we adhere to ‘COVID Safe and Secure’ practices and processes at all times – to keep you and our team safe and secure.

All the Adventure Plus staff have completed the Federal Department of Health’s online COVID-19 training and certification.

All Adventure Plus Team Managers have had additional training in relation to all aspects of delivering outdoor adventure programs in a COVID-19 safe and secure manner.

To minimise the chance of any COVID-19 transmissions, Adventure Plus has sourced additional cleaning and sanitisation products. Stringent cleaning processes and policies have also been introduced for staff and equipment.

In line with this, all Adventure Plus activity equipment, personal protective equipment, buildings, facilities, gear and uniforms are being regularly cleaned and sanitised in accordance with the Government’s COVID-19 standards.

Hand-washing stations and hand sanitiser will be readily available during all Adventure Plus programs and activities. Personal hygiene practices will be addressed at the commencement of any adventure to ensure that all participants are aware of and adhere to regular sanitisation practices.

All coaches, accommodation and amenities will be regularly deep cleaned and thoroughly sanitised before (and after) being used for any Adventure Plus activity or program.

All clients will be screened before departing on an Adventure Plus activity or program and regular temperature checks will be administered for both clients and staff. Physical distancing measures of 1.5m between people will be abided by at all times and the windows of vehicles and accommodation will be opened regularly to ensure adequate ventilation.

All Adventure Plus adventurers, teachers, parents and staff will be provided with a copy of Adventure Plus’ COVID-19 Safe and Secure Policy before participating in an Adventure Plus activity or program.
